Delta Updates Customers on Haneda Operations

(March 31, 2011) - Delta’s flights at Tokyo’s Narita International Airport continue to operate on a normal schedule.  However, in order to maximize operational efficiency in Japan following recent events, Delta is extending the temporary suspension its one daily flight from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport to Detroit. The service suspension dates between Haneda and Los Angeles remain unchanged.   During this temporary suspension, Haneda customers will be reaccommodated on flights to Delta’s Tokyo-Narita hub, which continues to offer a full schedule, or can request full refunds.

Delta will continue to monitor the impact from the earthquake closely and provide the latest updates at delta.com and twitter.com/DeltaNewsroom.

Assistance for Tokyo-Haneda Customers

Delta has issued a travel-exception policy for passengers affected by the service suspension.  Details of the policy may be found by visiting worldagentdirect.com or by clicking here.
