Julie A. Buchanan | President & CEO
Julie Buchanan is the founder of WorldClass Travel Network. Julie’s travel background and experience as a corporate and leisure agent helped Julie to open her own business in 1991. WorldClass Travel Network has grown into an industry leader. As the President, Julie provides leadership and direction for the entire organization. She is accessible to the top leaders in the travel industry, which insures that the company programs and compensation plans are the vanguard of the industry WorldClass Travel Network prides itself on ensuring that the Independent Contractors are well informed and positioned. Julie’s creativity and quest to seek new ideas and sales opportunities has launched unique and niche marketing tools for the independent contractors.
 

Robert Buchanan | Vice President
Bob Buchanan graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stout with a Bachelors Degree in Education and entered the mainframe computer industry. Bob has worked for a variety of companies including Bell Atlantic Business Services, Data Hardware and Main Tech Resources in multiplicity of capabilities. After 14 years in the computer industry, Bob moved his focus to WorldClass Travel Network. His computer background and experience is an excellent fit for the Company in managing the office computer systems and software. Bob sets up the new independent agents with Worldspan and provides on going technical support.
 

Sheri Carlson | Network Director
Sheri Carlson began her travel career in 1975 and attended and graduated from the Travel Career School. She worked with a Minneapolis travel agency wholesaler for several years and in 1991 joined WorldClass Travel Network as a full time corporate and leisure agent. As the Network Director, Sheri is the main contact for the independent contractors. She is the Network Help Desk, addressing a variety of questions from Worldspan formats, airline ticket rules, policy, procedures, what vendor to contact for a specific destination, problem solving, where to find information, etc.  She assists the independent agents in any way she can to make them more successful.
 

Julie Marie Vinkemeier | Travel Specialist
Julie Marie Vinkemeier graduated from the Dakota County Technical College, Travel School in 1993. She began her travel career at AAA Travel, as a customer service representative in the Trip Department. Julie Marie gained additional experience working for a number of local travel agencies, as a corporate and leisure agent and became certified as a Hawaii Destination Specialist. At Jet America, Julie Marie handled leisure transactions. Her responsibilities expanded there to include assisting independent agents and processing the ARC report. Julie Marie joined WorldClass Travel Network in 2004. She is a leisure agent and supports the independent contractors, coordinates supplier training sessions, distributes mail, invoices, documents and processes brochure requests. Julie Marie also assists with in-house training sessions for the Company.
 

Mikkel Mikkelsen | Travel Specialist
Mikkel’s travel career began in 1990, she first worked as a domestic leisure agent for a local travel agency in Minnesota.  She accepted a transfer to the Corporate Department and became an international/domestic corporate agent booking all aspects of travel.  Mikkel went on to other local agencies and worked as a leisure and corporate agent  Mikkel attended and graduated from the S. Eastern Travel Academy in Kissimmee, Florida. Mikkel is a native of Minnesota and has traveled to Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii and cruised several times.  Mikkel joined WorldClass Travel Network in 2008, serving corporate and leisure travel clients. Mikkel also works with the independent contractors assisting them with their questions and helps them with Worldspan.
